THE GENRE FEATURES OF UKRAINIAN BAROQUE SERMON

This paper is an attempt to comprehend the theoretical preconditions of genre structure Ukrainian baroque sermon in process its formation and development starting from “Teaching Gospel” early period written by Kyrylo Trankvilion Stavrovetskyi till homiletic treatise “The Art or Method Composing Sermon” Ioanykii Galiatovskyi. The forms principles coexistence two homiletical patterns, Greco-Slavic Latin-Polish, are considered as a channel rhetorical stylistic changes that determine modifications varieties. Viewed this way, author’s introductions, topics sermons, their consistency with different composite parts text give grounds observe consecutive actualization whole conception within ambit book individual samples.
 One key issues interaction oral (book) sermon, which reveals double level communication recipient: listening reading. demonstrated practices preaching Stavrovetskyi, Galiatovskyi, Antonii Radyvylovskyi, Lazar Baranovych, on one hand. On other hand, collections sermons named “Key Understanding”, “Virgin Mary’s Garden”, “Spiritual Sword”, “Trumpets Sermon Words”, authors, addition practical part, some comments reflections creative process, endowed divine power.
